Spring is here
« on: April 07, 2014, 04:31:42 PM »
Spring is here at last.

Blossom is blooming
Birds are singing,
Taters coming up
Onions growing
Overwintered lettuce ready to pick

God is in his heaven.

Praise the Lord.

Spring is here too, you can tell as you dodge the snow flakes!
Still praise the Lord anyway :)

We didn't get any snow this winter.  Only had a light frost on about 3 nights and then only to ice up the cars a bit.  Problem is there are many more pests in the garden like white fly.  I have seen a number of wasps around which is very early for them.

Daily express tomorrow will say we will have 81F within days, according to the press review.

What will you do in Scotland, bro.

One of our members returned from Glasgow about two years ago.  He spent a few years there with his mother.

We spent 12 days in France in the beginning of May.  The first Lord's day, we went to an Evangelical Church in Luxeuil le Bains.  We were amazed to meet a lady who had lived just 5 miles from where we live now, and used to be a member of a church in Canterbury which we used to attend. She and her husband retired to France to run a chambre d'hotes (b&b) but he died and she runs it herself.

The second Lord's day we attended pastor Baughman's church in Laon.  He is on furlough in US till 5th June, but when we were there, they had a stand in pastor, a US  missionary to Italy named Larry Piera.
