Bible Discussion / Re: Matthew 24
« on: September 16, 2016, 07:14:07 AM »
Mathew 24 does not deals with the Church but with the question that was asked by the disciples. It is based on that question and how it relates to Israel and the tribulation period and how it ends. It does not deal with the church and the rapture. CONTEXT!

Quote
Mat 24:3  And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Its a spurious question because you might well ask would Christ have been crucified if Adam had not fallen in the garden!

The answer is still the same, it is a spurious questions you might as well ask why did God make a garden of eden if he already knew that man would fall!

so are you trying to suggest that the Lord brings in the abomination of desolation's!

Quote
he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

poppycock, I have already showed that church leaders believed it in the third century and on wards! Why not try to  disprove it from scripture instead of appealing to some guy who also can't disprove it from scripture, birds of a feather and all. Sola scripture is all that counts.

“Man of Sorrows,” what a name
For the Son of God who came
Ruined sinners to reclaim!
  Hallelujah! what a Savior!
2
Bearing shame and scoffing rude,
In my place condemned He stood;
Sealed my pardon with His blood;
  Hallelujah! what a Savior!
3
Guilty, vile, and helpless, we,
Spotless Lamb of God was He;
Full redemption—can it be?
  Hallelujah! what a Savior!
4
Lifted up was He to die,
“It is finished!” was His cry;
Now in heaven exalted high;
  Hallelujah! what a Savior!
5
When He comes, our glorious King,
To His kingdom us to bring,
Then anew this song we’ll sing
  Hallelujah! what a Savior!

Questions for Futurists / Re: Doctrine of Futurism
« on: July 25, 2015, 09:28:32 AM »
The sacrifice did not cease no matter how you try and twist it. The way we KNOW the prophecy was FULFILLED was that the sacrifices would cease, they did not. Plain and simple, the prophecy is yet to be fulfilled!

The sacrifice failed in AD70 so how can it still be future.
you quoted part of what i said but not all.

It cease 40 years later, the resumed in ad 135 and. It did not cease as the prophecy declared so it is a future event. There are Jewish priests today and they are being cleansed as we speak.
