I think I'll wait a couple of months to see how it goes. let me know how it works out for you.

I didn't upgrade intentionally. I had reserved the option and it once asked me to upgrade now and I selected Remind Me Later  On Saturday when I had my laptop on my lap I fell asleep and when I woke up it was half way through upgrading.
I thought that I had lost the Office 10 Starter but I found that is still there.  As I only use Word and Excel that is useful and it saves me lashing out on a full Office.  So far, apart from the  small icons on the start bar I have not noticed much difference.  The start menu is different though and it took me a while to find out how to close down Windows.

I took the plunge and installed it the other day and it's running very well, quite stable. the only issue was updating my printer drivers to windows 10.

I don't think I have had any issues with Win 10.  My printer drivers worked OK.

I did read that MS can use it to spy on you.

I have a Samsung mobile phone and also a tablet running Android and I got an email suggesting I checked my Google Dashboard.  The first thing I noticed was that it said Trip to France August 31 to Sept 5.    It was nearly correct, I was there till Sept 7th.  It showed me in Cergy Pontoise Aug 31 and Sept 1st.  Then it shows me in Soissons till Sept 5th, but not only id Soissons but in the Campanile Hotel in Soissons.  We then moved to Laon for two days but I could not have used my phone of tablet there so it didn't pick that up.  When I looked further on one day it seemed to show me wandering around my garden.  One thing it got wrong is that it showed me in a cinema in Herne Bay.  I have never been in a cinema in Herne Bay although the location is a 100 yards or so from a Morrisons supermarket we park at when visiting the street market.  It says "Only you can view this"  But I wonder.
